Does the IV hurt?+
A small pinch when the needle goes in — about the same as a blood draw. September places IVs for a living and has the lightest touch we've ever seen. Most of our patients say it was easier than they expected.
How long does it take?+
Most IV drips run 30–60 minutes. NAD+ runs longer (60–90 minutes) because it's a higher-volume infusion. You'll be in a massage chair the whole time — bring headphones or just relax.
Can I drive after?+
Yes. IV hydration does not impair you. NAD+ can leave some people feeling a little wiped for an hour or two, so we recommend not scheduling a long drive immediately after your first NAD+ session.
What if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?+
Our Board Certified Emergency Physician reviews every protocol. Some treatments are safe during pregnancy, some are not. We will not start any drip until the medical director has reviewed your specific situation. Always tell us up front if you are pregnant, trying, or breastfeeding.
Will my insurance cover this?+
IV vitamin therapy is generally not covered by insurance. We accept HSA/FSA cards for treatments that qualify under your plan — check with your administrator. Payment is due at the time of service.
I'm scared of needles. Can you still help me?+
Yes, and you are not alone. Tell us when you book. September has a quiet, slow placement technique that has gotten many genuinely needle-phobic patients through their first drip comfortably. We don't rush anyone.
Do I need a prescription or referral?+
No referral needed. Every first-time visit includes a free telehealth consultation with our Board Certified Emergency Physician, who reviews your history and approves your protocol. That is the prescription path.
Is IV therapy FDA-approved to treat or prevent disease?+
No. IV vitamin therapy is a wellness service and is not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any specific disease. We offer it because evidence supports its use for hydration, nutrient repletion, and recovery — not as a substitute for medical care for any condition.
